Shag Party is a Southern California-based live act redefining the cover band experience. Fusing New Wave, Post-Punk, and classic groove rock, the band delivers a sophisticated, dancefloor-ready sound driven by tight musicianship and magnetic stage presence.

 

Known for turning every venue into a retro-futuristic party, Shag Party has built a loyal following through standout performances at iconic spots including The Continental Glendora, the HiBrow bars in Upland, Old Town Pub Pasadena, The Buccaneer Sierra Madre and private parties and events throughout Southern California. 

 

Expect guitar driven hooks, infectious rhythms, and a stylish “Neo-Glam” aesthetic that feels like stepping into the coolest club in 1982.

Steve Goodwin — Drums & Percussion

A veteran of the UK New Wave scene, Steve brings relentless energy and razor-sharp timing.

Ray Cadd — Bass & Low-End Theory  

The Architect  

A groove master and creative engineer (literally—he’s a Disney Imagineer), anchoring the band with deep, melodic basslines.
